What a beautiful weekend we had here in Anchorage! My aunt has been planting flowers the last couple weeks and the other day I found a little toy watering can in one of Jordan's boxes - so I thought it might be fun to plant a flower and see how long we can keep it alive! Ha!
So on Saturday we went to the South Anchorage Farmers Market and bought a beautiful purple and white flowering plant. I have NO IDEA what it is called. It didn't come with one of those plastic sticks, and I forgot what the lady told me it was. Oh well.
So we (mostly I) planted it in a little container and watered it. Now it will sit in the window and hopefully I will remember to have Jordan water it every few days. If anyone knows what it is or offer any gardening tips I will gladly accept them, thank you kindly!
(And yes...I did change her into the purple shirt with the purple flower to coordinate with our little activity. I'm such a nerd, but you know you love it!)
Jordan enjoyed getting her hands (just a little) dirty! And it was just a fun little thing to do together.
